What Area Defines Mt. Auburn

As part of the uptown community Mt. Auburn offers many important conveniences; it is close to downtown as well as the university and the major hospitals; it has several bus lines and good walking routes; several schools are located in Mt. Auburn as are a number of organizations that offer a range of neighborhood services; there are several parks in Mt. Auburn, as well as playgrounds and green space; Mt. Auburn also houses a number of Churches of various denominations, some small and some large. Along the quiet and lush residential streets of Mt. Auburn can be found imposing Victorian mansions, modest single-family houses, and moderately sized apartment buildings.

Mount Auburn extends along both sides of Auburn Avenue roughly between Ringold Street and William H. Taft Road
