Mission & Vision

The Mount Auburn Chamber of Commerce is a business & professional association of Mt. Auburn business owners, community leaders, and residents who want to:

Create a safe living and working environment

Work diligently with local police and residents to decrease crime in Mt. Auburn. Achieve a more favorable crime status comparable to other local neighborhoods with lower crime rates, such as Clifton, Mt. Lookout, Hyde Park, and others.

Improve the economic viability of Mt. Auburn by:

Attracting new businesses to the area
Retaining current businesses and nonprofits in the area
Increasing the residential base of renters and homeowners

Preserve and publicize the historic aspects of Mt. Auburn.

Rebrand the image of the area to include the modifier: "Historic Mt. Auburn".

Increase the value of Mt. Auburn homes and business buildings

By sponsoring and participating in neighborhood clean-ups and by improving the physical condition of the streets, curbs, and sidewalks, thus improving the aesthetic appeal of the area.

Communicate and collaborate with other community groups

(Mt. Auburn Community Council, Prospect Hill Homeowners Association, Mulberry Hill Association, Citizens on Patrol, Cincinnati Police, and Uptown Consortium) to:

Fulfill our mutual organizations' goals
Promote a new and vital neighborhood in Mt. Auburn
